2004 Santa Fe Visor Vanity Lights/Glove Box light

    I just purchased a 2004 Santa Fe, and find that the vanity lights on
    the visors and the light in the glove box only come on when you have
    the driving headlights on.

    Is this standard operating behavior?

    That's the way the company designed the system. Not too smart in my opnion.
