2011 Sante Fe - Winter tire size

    Hello fellow Sante Fe drivers!

    I am new to this forum as I just switched to a Sante Fe and love the car.

    I am looking for winters tires for a 2011 Sante Fe GLS , currently I have the stock size summer tires on - P235/65R17.

    Has anyone installed the smaller P225/70R16 tires (I have 16 rims from my previous car) ?

    Want to know if its safe - I've researched and it does say this is the smallest tire for this car.
