Ongoing Ignition Issues - Key won't turn (2010 Sonata)

    I realize that there is a security feature that can cause this to happen, but my issue is ongoing.

    The steering wheel locks up, the key won't turn. The electrical flashes on and off. And it happens every couple of days. By pure luck, I am able to press the brake, talk nice to the steering wheel, jiggle the key and Voila! It turns!

    I'm concerned that there is a bigger problem than a security feature that prevents the car from being stolen... And it's very inconvenient.

    Any ideas are welcome - I've already used powdered graphite as suggested in some google articles with no luck.
