0 (0/0) '02 Elantra seat cushion replacement

    I need to replace front passenger side seat cushion (big hole).
    Bought 2 seats for $25 off eBay. Hyundai's website shows
    how to replace, but I ain't got the time or inclination to do so.

    Called my local dealer and was quoted almost $200 (!!) just to
    replace seat cushion. They claimed it has something to do with side
    airbags. What the fluck does the side airbags have to do with
    seat replacement, I wanna know. This is practically the same pricing
    I was getting when inquiring about re-upholstering(sp)

    I think I'd get inclined before paying $200 to the dealer.

    If there is some issue with the airbag system you might want to disconnect
    the battery before replacing the seat.
