01 hyundai tiburon check engine light

Recently my check engine light came on and i have no clue what the issue is. Car runs fine. The only issue is that the fan belt squeaks every now and then. Just looking to find out what is causing the light to come on

To find out why the check engine light is on
You will need to have it scanned or scan it yourself with an OBDII (for cars after 1996)
This can be done by the guys at the auto parts store
Jst make sure to get all the codes and write them down
Then you can look them up on the internet in the proper format
Like P0302 is for misfire in cylinder 2
Or P0440 is for an Evap system issue (usually leak or gas cap)
