04 elanta clutch not depressing

everything working fine, then I depressed clutch and it forcefully threw my foot up and that's where the clutch stayed. ( upright position). Clutch kit and transmission was replaced less than a yr ago. What is really going on ? please help. My 1st time on any forum so if I do something wrong , please let me know
