I was driving down the road an it shut off and will not start back what could be the problem

That is a good question. What have you done to figure it out?
I can not see what you see, can not hear what you hear
So, tell us what is going on.
Have you checked for spark?
Have you checked for fuel injector pulse?
Have you checked to see if the fuel pump is priming the fuel rail?
