i just recently changed the altenator in my car and when the headlights,
the radio, and the a/c is on the car stalls out. what could the problem
be

Have you checked to see if the new alternator is charging?

Should measure around 13-14 volts at the battery with the engine
running at idle.

I would guess either the alternator isn't working or the load of the
alternator is loading the motor down and causing the stall.
