2002 Elantra GT brake lights

    Brake lights/hatch brake light stuck on but not changing when brake
    pedal is applied. I have removed the fuse for now and not driving car.
    Causes/solutions? Thanks!!

    Unplug the brake pedal switch and recheck. If the lamps go out, you
    switch is out of adjustment or shorted, or isn't properly contacting th
    rubber bumper on the pedal
