1. Gas pump keeps shutting off when I try to gas up.
2. Car is slow to shift gears
3. 'Check Engine' light comes on then goes off

I just paid to have the Input Speed Sensor replaced, but need to have car inspected. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The Evap emissions recovery system can fail and cause problems
It can be the vent valve which is near the vapor (charcoal) canister
Or it could be the canister.

When gas goes into the tank, air must go out through the charcoal canister and then vent valve
The vent valve fails and is stuck in closed position.
This makes it hard to fill gas tank.

Sometimes the charcoal in the canister breaks free and clogs the hoses.
Sometimes the canister is gasoline soaked due to topping off the gas tank when re-filling.
Either causes the air to be blocked and gas can not enter the tank.

Check engine light needs to scan computer and find the diagnostic trouble codes
