Hi, I need help with my xg350.
I changed the coils for real bad missing of the engine.
Then i got a po431 code and the engine doesn't want to rev-up while driving, hard to get up hills,
so i downshift and hold it at 3000 rpm's till i get up the hill.
I cleared the code, it takes a while to come back.
Did the bad coil cause the ignition module(transistor) to go bad? Or what?
By the way, i found the wire coming from the oil filter area rubbed thru the insulation on a pulley
so i fixed that. I checked the temp. of the exhaust pipes just below the manifolds and the rear pipe is 50 f cooler than the front one.The vacuum is good and steady, and doesn't go down when i hold it at 2000 rpm's. I checked the egr solenoid and the vacuum works backwards according to the manual, and the ohm are 32, which is lower than the spec's. I even tried to check it in the other port and got about the same results. I applied vacuum straight to the egr valve and the engine wanted to die.
Also, which bank is #1?
Thanks
