I've had my '04 Sonata GLS V-6 about a month. At 2300 miles I've been
    averaging 25mpg.

In my '03 LX V6 I'm getting around 19 mpg in town and nearly 30 mpg
(using cruise) on the highway. It's just now starting to get warm
around here (Boston) so we'll see how the A/C affects the mileage

My wife has a 2003 Sonata Lx with the 2.7 liter V-6. She averages around
23-24 mpg with a 50%/50% highway split and about 29 on the highway.

2004 Sonata LX. 17 MPG city but I got a lead foot and the engine is not
broken in yet (under 1000 miles). Haven't done many highway miles yet.

    I've got an 03 LX.

I get 19-20 MPG for my normal driving back and forth to work. It's
pretty lousy because there are a lot of hills and stop signs (or if I
go the other route I go 60 MPH and then idle, 60 MPH, and idle,
etc...). I get 24-25 on the highway. When my girlfriend drives it
she gets 21- 22 MPG for city driving and around 27 for highway.
