What is the flush and refill interval for the manual transmission and what
type of tranny fluid does it take?
    Thanks.

  2. Your transmission doesn't need a "flush" unless your cars been
    submerged.

Drain and refill is 60K miles for the '00 Accent. Check your owners
manual for the recommended interval for your car.

I HIGHLY recommend using only Hyundai transmission fluid. People who
don't provide a never ending source of amusement for the regulars here

  3. The manual transmission needs a 75w-90, GL-4 gear lubricant. It's
readily available, but you'll have to look for it specifically. Do not
use a GL-5 lubricant, as it does not work with the type of synchros in
    the Hyundai transmission!

I changed my tranny to Redline MT-90 synthetic (at 10K miles) and I'm
quite pleased with it. Unlike conventional oils, it doesn't get thick as
    molasses in cold weather.

The scheduled interval is 30,000km or 24 months. Whichever occurs
    first.
