Can a 2003 Sonata keyless remote system be programmed to chirp when locking
    or unlock the doors?

It would be nice if they could but I don't think that that
functionality is built-in. I was planning on going over the electical
schematics up on WebTech to see if there was somewhere I could insert
a relay to make the horn fire.

I'm moving this weekend but maybe I'll give it a try on the next
weekend. That mod isn't hard at all for anyone who has worked with
    electricity before.

The article claims that all 2004 have the chirp. My 2004 Sonata GLS does
    not.

Please stop replying with "Me too!". None of the Sonatas chirp, that
is something that was built-into the newer Santa Fe.

Why does that bother you so much?

If I wanted it to chirp, I would've bought a cricket!
