I just went on tirerack to get a winter tire & wheel package, and to
my surprise they did not have a cheap steel wheel for a snow tire
package for a Hyundai 2004 Elantra GT sedan. The wheel size is 15 x 6
for stock 195/R60-15 tires. The agent said this was probably not a
common size and that's why they didn't stock them. I have 2 questions:
1) Did they just change the wheel size for 2004 Elantras? Or is it
different for the GT sedan? I would figure with all of the Elantras
out on the road there would be lots of available wheels by now. It's
been a hot selling car.
2) Does anyone know of another online tire site I can try to get
these? Or an alternative tire & wheel size package I can use that
would conform to Hyundais specs and not screw up my speedometer or the
car's performance?
Thanks.
