I am trying to find out the torque specs for the fuel pump assembly(8 bolts), as I took it out to check the sending unit. I am now getting a code for small leak from the tank. I may have to replace the seal for the assembly to the tank, if fighting to torque doesn't fix this issue. Does anyone know the part# a new seal?

I know this is an old thread, but I'm hoping my reply gets you back.
If you're replacing the fuel pump on a 2004 Hyundai, it's usually best to replace the whole assembly, not just the pump. That way you get the pump motor, filter sock, float arm, seal, and wiring all in one go. It helps make sure everything fits right and your fuel gauge works properly. Use a lock ring tool if you have one, or carefully tap it loose with a punch and hammer. A little penetrating oil helps if it's stuck. Be sure to clean the area and use the new gasket that comes with the kit. Once it's in, turn the key to the ON position a couple times to let the pump prime before starting it. That usually gives a smoother install and fewer issues down the road.
