    Can anyone tell me the gas tank capacity of a 2004 Elantra?

    Belive it to be 14.5 (US) gallons.

    I'm not so sure about this. The reported capacity may be 14.5 gallons, but, for at least the 2nd time a few days ago, I put more than that in mine. This time, it was more than 15 gallons. Could the meters at gas pumps be routinely falsified?
