I was driving yesterday and the Santa Fe jerked and the Check Engine light came on and the truck seemed to slow to a crawl and acted like I was driving a manual transmission and riding the clutch. When I stopped at a stoplight and then started out again the truck accelerated slowly and eventually got up to speed. The way I know it is stuck in 3rd gear is because I moved the stick to the manual position and the 3 came on on the dash. I shifted the stick toward the minus(-) and then the plus(+) and the light on the dash did not change at all. I connected a code reader to the diagnostic port and got two codes - P1529 and P0755 - Shift solenoid B malfunction. What to do now?

Unless you know how to service an automatic transmission, take it in to fix.
Personally, I know next to nothing about trannys.

Wish you luck and an honest mechanic

Thank you. A visit to a triple A shop is in order.
