2005 Santa Fe transmission stuttering

    For the last few months the car has been stuttering whenever it tries to shift into overdrive, BUT only when the A/C or defroster is on. The dealer says they can't find anything wrong. A transmission shop says its a bad torque convertor and I should rebuild the transmission.
    I have changed the transmission fluid to the recommended type. The Santa Fe now has about 63000 miles. No other transmission problems other than the cruise control doesn't work. It's very hot in Florida without the A/C is the summer.
