I have a 2006 Hyundai Sonata V6. Just recently the contact for the unlock button on the keyless entry broke and now I am unable to use my car unless I trigger the alarm, pop the hood, unhook the battery, reattach the battery and then start the car. If I try and use my key to unlock the car it triggers the alarm and the car won't start. Also, if I use the key to lock the car is arms the car. Is there anyway to get around this? Is there a reset for the alarm? I have ordered a new remote however it will take a few days to get the new remote and I need my car now. Any advice would be much appreciated.
