Runs fine around town but on long hot trips, it just dies. I wait for 20 minutes and start up, everything runs fine. Had the Trans replaced 1 year ago. No lights pop up or overheating. Any thoughts

Crank sensors are known to give issues with drive-ability
And not throw DTC or CEL.
Since the sensor is an electronic part, they sometimes fail when hot
Cool off and they work again for a while

However, trips around town should also suffer the same problem??
Don't know. Do you have anymore information???
