2007 Tucson Repair Parts original new $$$ less for Aftermarket

    I have a 2007 Hyundai
    and
    a diagnostic test I got a Auto Zone shows a Transmission Control System (MIL Request).
    Assuming this has to be replaced
    I've researched the cost of these and they range from $ 800 to $ 1,200.
    My question is
    Will my mechanic have to purchase these new parts?
    or
    Can he find/purchase aftemarket used TCM?
