The engine light has come on twice. The first time was a sensor that had to be replaced. The second was apparently a loose gas cap, my fault. After filling the car with gas, I forgot to put the gas cap and started the engine. Someone else alerted me that it was not on so I stopped and fixed it. The light came on and stayed on until disconnecting the negative battery cable for about five minutes. The light went out and has stayed out for over 2,000 miles now. This happened in FL and we're back in NE, no problems.
