I have the very same problem and am waiting for replies to you. I wonder if it is safe to drive it until the dealer can fix it under warranty. Otherwise I will go elsewhere.

Don't know if they consider it a wear item like brake pads where you have to bear the cost of replacement
Or if it is considered a bumper to bumper warranty item which is only covered for 5 years or 50,000 miles??

It take a long time for the bearings to go so bad that it can't be driven.
But, if you drive a long time like that .. it can wear the hub in which it sits

I took it to the dealer, it was the wheel bearings and warranty covered everything including the rental car.
