I was driving to work today when all of a sudden my engine light flashed briefly and my car seemed to lose power. I tried accelerating but but the car would not respond and even slowed down more. I also noticed that my tachometer isn't working at all. I seem to have better luck manually shifting gears, but is difficult without knowing engine speed. I was thinking it may be the crankshaft sensor, but the engine light isn't currently on and my car is running, sorta. Any ideas?
