My car got stalled out in water and now it won't start. Engine appears to be ok no water in oil or engine. It did suck water into the air filter. When I try to start it sounds like a dead battery. Battery tests ok , what sensors could have gone out or any ideas on what might have gone out.

I know this is kind of late. But what happened?
You said it sucked water into the air filter
If it gets into the cylinders it can cause something known as hydro-lock
Water doesn't compress and the cylinders have pistons which are trying to compress air fuel mixture
If water get into and fills the cylinder then the engine will lock up
Try removing the spark plugs and hand crank engine to see if water will come out
