2016 Sonata Door Lock stuck in locked position

If I understand correctly then the doors are opened
And the locks or latch is closed
Now, can not close doors
Should be able to undo the lock or latch by unlocking the lock
And applying pressure on the release mechanism (door handle)
And using a screwdriver (or pry bar) to move the latch to open position

The jiggling the outside door handle and using a key to move the latch worked! Thank you!
