ABS and ESC light

Hello,

The two lights just lite up on my 2015 Accent. So I'm right at the start of diagnostics.
Does anyone know if I need to pay the $105 to figure out what the problem is, or is there a way to tell
without using the tool? I have been told that there is a control module if it does in fact need to hook up to the computer
system to tell. Your experience with this issue would be most appreciated.

I have never had to deal with ABS or ESC.
So, no idea about how to figure this out.
Would believe that a proper scanner is needed.
