Hello. New to this forum. I'll be changing the brakes and at least 1 caliper on my 2012 Sonata Hybrid, and I was wondering if there is any special bleeding procedure, such as the need for a special code reader? Thanks!

If you get air in the master cylinder / abs unit while bleeding the calipers, you will need a scan tool that supports abs bleeding on your model. I have a Launch 9081 that supports my 2012, but I have never used that function.
You must make sure that the reservoir does not get too low while bleeding the calipers, or you will need the tool

Thanks. I was careful to not get air in the MC. Since I changed all 4 calipers it took a lot of fluid, but everything is good. Thanks for the reply.
