Accent Sport 2018 USB port not working

Hi all
My daughter just bought an Accent Sport 2018 and was told that there is an Apple Car build in. We followed the instructions and connect the iPhone to usb underneath the console (it’s the only usb port in the car) and find out that it doesn’t work. How do we know that it’s working. We changed a few lighting cable and it still not powered on or connected
 
Hi!
Most likely the problem is with the usb port, it may be clogged or damaged. or you need to update the software. Have you tried resetting to factory settings, sometimes it works

I gather the usb is not working but not sure how to check it. Not sure how to update the firmware’s and yes I had reset the unit
