Accent ?

    Is the Accent (new model) strong enough for a long trip? I was
    thinking of cross country but keeping the speed to 65 mph or less.

    I take my 2003 Accent (1.5L) on frequent trips. It will be quite
    content going well over 65MPH. My 5-spd consistently gets over 40 MPG.

    TR7 Driver Guest

    While the Accent is no Town Car it should be OK on a long trip. Mine cruises
    nicely at 75 MPH in overdrive. It's a 2003 model.

    The more I drive it the more I like it.
