I just bought a 2005 Sonata. Its in great condition, the only actual issue is with the radio/CD player. The power antenna is completely extended out and limp hanging down to the side. Most radio stations play fine, but it looks terrible and I can't take take it through a car wash. I'm wondering if pulling it out or cutting it off would affect the radio any further at this point? Thank u so much in advance!

Why not just replace the power antenna?

There are replacements, you can put a shark fin antenna overtop of the old one. You'll just have to remove mast, and I believe that they come with all the proper parts to rehook it up. Check any Kdm auto parts online. Like Shark racing !
