Best Oil Filter for 2000 Elantra

In brief, the best filters are Mobil 1 & SuperTech. Both are made by
Champion. Both are made of synthetic fibers that capture 5 times more that
natural fibers. Also, both have a real spring-loaded gasket. Fram, for
example, has a cheap insert that may stick and allow backwash. I buy the
ST's because they are only $2.

Also, the ST7317 is taller than the ST6607 (more filter). The former is
made for a truck but fits perfectly on my Hyundai.

Purolator Pure One filters are also consistently highly rated. The
recommended filter for the Elantra is #PL14459, but the #PL24458 is
identical except for being ~30% longer.
