    hello all,
So I have a 2002 Santa fe with about 130k miles on it and it will start and rev, but when I try to back out of my parking spot, it revs to a high rpm, then the needle goes back down to low, the car jerks a little bit, and then the cycle repeats. any idea as to what this could be? I can't drive forward, as I am parked in front of a building.

I would assume engine is not getting the proper amount of fuel
The high and low rev sounds like the engine is hunting for idle speed
If you have a MAF sensor then try either to clean it out
Remember the precautions for MAF sensor
