Cruise control problem

    I have experienced problems with our cruise control taking over and pushing the car into a runaway mode on gradual grades. I am forced to turn the cruise control off and reset to fix the problem. I took the car in and a Hyundai tech told me there was fix, a software download called "runaway." I was busy but brought it back later and was told they didn't know what I was talking about and couldn't fix it. I have a 2016 sonota

    Does this happen often?
    Can you video it or document it?

    Who was the first tech you talked to?
