Door latch assembly 2016 SE

    I've removed primary panel and the 10 bolts for secondary panel, and 3 screws holding latch assembly in the edge of door - then realized the bad news about the glass...!
    My question is simply this:do the two actuator cables need the support of the two boots holding them in the secondary panel to function?
