Does anyone know if the 09 Elantra has auto door lock? That's where the
doors will automatically lock when you get up to speed.. That's standard
    Elantra, not the Touring model.

Yes, but it must be activated using the scan tool or laptop diagnostic
    tool.

The system can be set to lock the doors at 20 or 40 km/h. It can also
be set to unlock the doors when the key is removed from the ignition.

    Thanks HyundaiTech for responding.
I thought that I had read someplace that the Elantra had the auto door locks
but both the Salesman and the service advisor had said not. I am not
surprised that the salesman didn't know but you would think that the advisor
would. The advisor did acknowledge that the Touring had the auto locks, but
insisted that the standard Elantra did not. Can you point me to any
reference info that I could use to convince the service advisor.
The manual does not help because it says "if equipped".

My reference is TSB 06-90-022, published in November, 2006. For
whatever reason, it won't come up on hmaservice if you search using HD
Elantra, but it will if you search using NF Sonata. I'd seriously
doubt that the feature was deleted between the 2007 and 2009 model
    years.
