elantra power window problem

'99 wagon

Motor runs.... makes weird noises... and the window (pass. front) does
not go up or down. I was able to pull the window up and tape it shut



Just happened yesterday at 62k miles.....couldn't happen at 59k? :-)

Any help would be appreciated. I'd like to avoid going to the dealer if
possible as it is quite drive and would take up a whole day plus the $$$

I would consider getting behind the door panel myself to take a look if
it is not to difficult


Is there a repair manual available for this car?

If you can help me, please reply to my email also, as my newsreader
picks up very little

I had the same problem , all you need to do is lube the vertical guide
track , check with your dealer , even tho mine was out of warranty
they did it free for me .
