I have a 2011 Elantra with a 1.8
I have read that these engines may be able to be replaced free of charge by Hyundai.
Recently it has developed oil leak into spark plug hole bank 1.
For the last 30,000 miles the motor has developed a progressively worse tapping from the valve line.
Codes misfire on cyl. Bank one.
When warm after about 60 miles performance is sluggish and does not appear to shift correctly.
Can anyone help give advice on my issue.
Thanks!

So what did you end up doing?

He ended up replacing the valve cover gasket like any sensible person would who discovers oil in a spark plug tube.
