excel 1998 losing clutch pressure

  1. Hi,

Ive had the clutch, master and slave cylinder replaced and the clutch i
losing pressure. There seems to be no leakage and the reservior doesn
    need refillinh.

An example of the problem is; depress the clutch and purt it into gea
with foot on the brake. The car will eventually stall as the clutc
engages despite the clutch being depressed

There's probably air still in the system. Start with rebleeding th
    clutch
system. If it's only a small amount of air, pumping the clutch peda
    will
usually restore hydraulic pressure, and the air will tend to work itself
    out over time
