I need to replace the fuel filter on my '01 Accent. Anyone know how
to remove the rear seat so I can get to it?

Thanks,
Okie

You don't need to remove the rear seat, just release the front of the
seat by squeezing the middle of the lower part of the seat inwards and
down. There's two clips holding it in. Then just pull the seat up a
bit to gain access to the cover plate.

Maybe they'll help a little? the fuel filter releases easily by just
pushing in the blue clips. Lookout for the earth wire on the filter,
it also has a clip that has to be pushed in before it can be removed.

Thanks for the help Jim. I did end up taking out the seat this time
(there were two 12mm bolts holding the back of the seat) but next time
I do this job, I'll just pull the seat up. The filter itself was very
easy to remove.
