Hello everyone. Im new here and thought i ask a quick question. I just had my fuel sensor replaced some weeks ago. I've notice the last 2 times that i have put gas in my car the gauge isn't moving right away. The guage slowly moves after ive driven a few miles and it may not catch up until the next day. Now my gas light is on and i just put gas in twice but the gauge moved down instead of up. What else could it be? I have a 2013 accent.

Sounds like the sending unit was installed improperly.
If you had the work done at a garage then maybe have a conversation with them.
If you did the work yourself then you may have to go into again.

However, be aware that it isn't unusual for the gas gauge to take a little time to register the fill.
You can try to fill the tank while having the engine running. It should be faster.

I took it back to the shop that originally fixed it and was informed the sendor was defective. So they will be getting another sender tomorrow. Thanks.
