i have just purchased a getz diesel and what a beauty , it is
comfy , quiet at 70 -80 mph and on a full tank of gas achieved
around 53mpg and it went 400 miles . cabin is very roomy and i
have had four adults in and still pulled to 70 as if there was
one person init . i have got to do a long run init to see
if i can get 60 mpg . In the UK they gave my 5 yrs warrenty
including the exuast and all , which motor company in the world
does that , not even bentley !!! 3 yrs free service and i picked
the car up for £6999 as it was only 30 days old when i bought
    it instead of 86000 rrp
I will probably keep this car for 4 yrs as there will be 1
year lft on warrenty so i should get a good price for it when
i sell it . Ohh by the way they throw in 3yrs full euro rac
cover as well all for £140 a month lol , now whos the fool

I have purchased the 1.1 Petrol Getz, yip it's comfy and the noise level is
very low, I managed to get the dealer down to just under £6,000. The car I
had prior to this was a Citroen diesel - that thing would run forever on a
tank of diesel - At the moment though I am suffering from the petrol blues
and it seems (to me) to drink like a fish.

I have to admit, I really would have preferred a diesel, my annual mileage
would support that but unfortunately my current cash flow wouldn't

But I can't fault the 1.1 petrol at all, I am just starting to really 'open
it up' now and I have my fingers crossed that the fuel economy will improve
when I get more used to having a petrol engine again.

Yes. you are right about the deals though that Hyundai offer here in the
UK - the 5 year's free warranty, RAC membership made it deal that I couldn't
    refuse.

Best of luck with your Getz ;)
