Please could someone help, especially if this has happened to them.

    I have a Coupe 2.0 SE

Sometimes (Becoming more and more often) it takes me 2 or 3 goes to start
    the car.

Trouble is that the EMU according to hyundai can't find any problems because
the engin does start but dies after about 30 seconds.

I then have to wait about another 30 seconds before I can start the engine.

This is baffeling my local garage who have now told me that they don't know
what to do with the car as they can't reproduce it.

I have now been told that my only hope is if the car dies compleately. This
is now getting very anoying as I am not the most mechanicaly minded person.

Any ideas or experiances in this matter would be very greatfully received.

Thanks to anyone who is reading this

What's the manufacture date of the Coupe? U.S. Hyundais have a little black
plate on the center pillar or driver door showing the date of manufacture.

Whenever you crank the engine, watch the tachometer. When it turns over but
does not start, does the tacho needle move?

I'll have to get back to you on the date, it is a UK Coupe.
The revs go up to about 1.5 to 2, last for about half a second, then die.

    Weird eh!
