How do i activate my alarm

I own a Hyundai Elantra, 2012 limited model, , the panic alarm works perfectly well using the remote, but I want to know how to activate the anti theft alarm to sound when someone tries to open the door without my permission

Have you looked at he owners manual?

I thought that using the remote to lock the doors would activate the alarm??
