Does anyone have an issue with excessive engine noise especially under acceleration?

Car sounds like exhaust is blowing and I've had people comment "didn't realise you had a diesel". Car has been back to Hyundai under warranty but they said nothing wrong.

I'm convinced the noise is getting louder. Car has only done 3,000 miles and it was very quiet when I first picked it up. I usually have car in ECO driving mode.

Is this noise normal? I've had Kia's for years so Hyundai is new to me.

Been with my mild hybrid i20 since September 2022. No issue with noise, sounds a bit throaty like a sports car under hard acceleration. I like the car but disappointed with petrol consumption. I've had i30's from new for 10 years, both diesel, both averaged 51/52 mpg. The i20 is only doing around 47 mpg with long runs. Round and about it barely gets 45 mpg.

Also disappointed I can't exclude toll roads from navigation
