Hyundai-Kia - one of the top five manufacturers

  1. From an 11th place ranking in 1999, the Hyundai-Kia conglomerate has risen to become the fifth largest car manufacturer in the world. According to Automotive News, the 2008 Global Data Book shows that the group has sold 3,961,629 cars, and now has risen above the likes of Honda, Nissan, and the PSA group.
