i have constant rattling noise that is coming from my rear view mirror. Does anyone know how to take the mirror off so I can tighten whatever is lose?
 
There are a number of ways the rear view mirror is attached to the windshield
Sometimes it just slides over the holder which is glued to the windshield
Sometimes there is an allen screw which keeps it in place
You have to visually inspect it to find out what is holding it on

See I went about this all wrong. I thought..... why don’t I try and figure this out with my eyes closed, you know, like Van Damm in Bloodspot!!
Unfortunately I’m not a millennial or gen z so I was able to keep trying till I got it fixed. Lol
 
See, that's what I thought. You went about it all wrong.
Coming to a forum to ask what you could have done easily yourself.
But, people come in all types.
And that is a good thing.
