I recently changed my engine oil (Petronas Mach 5 20W50 SL) to (Hyundai Xteer Synthetic SN,20W50) engine oil .so my question is this engine oil good ?, and what often time required to change oil interval with. knowing I live in very hot weather.

Should always use the recommended type of oil for your vehicle.
Does your car recommend 20 weight oil with a viscosity 50??
    That is very heavy oil.
If yours is a higher mileage engine then the clearances are bigger and can accommodate heavier oils
But for newer engines, the clearances are tighter and thicker oil just doesn't squeeze into tight spaces better
Of course, I haven't yet seen any problems come from running heavier oil.
But, if new car then it can be a point of contention when asking for warranty work
