Do I have to take the car to the dealer for scheduled maintenance, or
can I have it done anywhere? What sort of proof do I need to prove I
had the work done so my warranty isn’t invalidated - is the receipt
    enough?

  2. Anywhere. You can even do it yourself. You should record the date when
it was done and what got done in a log somewhere, though.
Receipts for the work done (or for the parts/supplies if you did the
work yourself) should be plenty. Keep them with the log mentioned in
the first paragraph, and you should be OK. HTH,

  3. There's no "should" about it. That's all you're required to do under US
law (Moss-Magnuson Act). If a dealer tells you anything different,
    he's lying.
